Thanks :D

The sunlight at that time of the day is amazingly perfect for a back hairlight and my flash gave me just enough fill on her face ^^

LOL, thanks for the nice comment.

The lighting conditions aligned very well for this one. Early winter around 4:00 PM...

Brilliant cosplay and shot... accuracy of the model's draw or not. :P

Love the lighting you captured on her hair!

Aside from the pose being hawkward, you / the model should get a new arrow. That one looks sorta silly.

Yeah. I'm remaking the bow to be a better fit for my body and making my own arrows. My dad did a pretty good job, but there were too many inaccuracies. I told him I just need one that's bigger. QQ

This is about the beauty of the photographer and the model not the freaking archery stance. As an avid cosplayer and photographer it matters more to capture something beauty. Maybe the set up wasn't perfect but I don't expect you people to do any better. Hat being said this is a wonderful cosplay and a wonderful representation of Merida. I also love how the costume is realistic and isn't extremely tight( like man other cosplays I've seen of her) it seems more Merida. Keep up the good work.m

Thanks! Actually the reason why it wasn't fitting as well as it did at the beginning of the shoot is because I didn't ask anyone to help me tie it up in the back. (I really mess up a lot of the time...) QQ I didn't even realize until I had gotten home that it came almost COMPLETELY unlaced. But it is really easy to move in!

It makes me feel really good after all of the archery corrections and Rensu really did take amazing shots!!

While I have no complains whatsoever to the photograph itself, it is quite clear that the model has not drawn a single bow her entire life. No offense.

Aww Kaiya, you're making me blush xD

I knew of this spot in this park because of a shoot I did with my friend as a Final Fantasy White Mage a few months back. Since it's winter now, everything is pretty much dead there so I figured it would be a nice area to have some cover for taking shots and it ended up being even better than I anticipated for the composition ^^

Now if only we could go back in time and fix her archery position ^^;

This is previously addressed, I'm taking them in the summer. Too cold, not a real bow, no archery training, did research but hard to remember in 2 1/2 hours of Michigan winter. Hands were too cold to hold anything properly. Thanks! :)

At first I was like "the pose in this is so insulting to this character" and totally fails to sell me on it, but, now that I know it was kind of cold and that you where lazy about it, it suddenly makes the picture great!

... I don't really know if this was supposed to be a nice comment or not. I wasn't being lazy about it. Yes, I'm uneducated. That's been addressed 45 times now, but I don't feel like it was insulting to the character and it's not really kind to call someone lazy when you haven't really put yourself in my soaked through, ice covered shoes.

Elbow needs to be up and finger not out. Just something to keep in mind next time.
